Playing and singing Enter Sandman at Knebworth (Sonisphere) in 2009.Bjorn Again appeared as special guests of Metallica and we paid tribute to them by covering one of their best known tracks. This also helped to win over a slightly sceptical audience!
Bjorn Again appearing on “Night of a Thousand Faces” alongside other famous impressionists including Alistair McGowan and Mike Yarwood. The show was hosted by Dame Edna in front of a celebrity audience.
Playing with The River City People back in the early nineties. This track charted as the follow up to their cover of ‘California Dreamin’, which had broken into the top twenty the previous year.
Appearing with Horse on Jools Holland. This show was also recorded in the nineties and featured the band playing 2 tracks from the ‘Same Sky’ album. Also appearing on the night was fellow Scot Midge Ure, who had to borrow my amp after his had blown up!
An acoustic performance with strings filmed in London in aid of the Lighthouse charity. The show was introduced by Holly Johnson of Frankie Goes to Hollywood and also featured Pulp and Neneh Cherry.
Performing in the video for ‘Arms of Love’. The track was produced by Jeff Wayne of ‘War of the Worlds’ fame. Although a surprisingly good singer she gave gave it up and settled on a glittering Hollywood career instead. Well perhaps it was for the best….
Playing with Bjorn Again on The One and Only. The TV show aired last year and was hosted by Graham Norton.The odd group of individuals in the background were various tribute artists competing for a starring role in Las Vegas. Thankfully we were featured as special guests and were not participating.
Live appearance promoting Horse’s second album ‘God’s Home Movie’. ‘Celebrate’ was the final single to be released.
